Fantasy Tattoos

Fantasy tattoos include imaginary objects and places, magical or mythical creatures and gods and goddesses. Popular characters include unicorns, elves, dwarves, dragons, demons, monsters, mermaids, fairies and many more. Fantasy tattoos are popular among people who have fascination with the mystical world.

Wizards and fairies are two of the most common designs in this type of tattoo. A typical scene might depict beautiful woman, fairies or goddess scantily clothed, muscular warriors, elves and dragons in beautiful dreamlike worlds. The genie, popularized by “Arabian Nights” is also a popular choice. Most genies are depicted as strong, dark figures with a mischievous grin. They are also usually shown pressing out of the lamp. They are often done in hues of blue, lavender and green. They may be drawn with crossed legs mid air with cheerful smile or in peaceful meditation.

In terms of animals, the Pegasus and the unicorn are among the most popular. The Pegasus can be displayed with intricate, bird like wings flying from one part of the body to another. Most people use flames or rainbows trailing behind the Pegasus. The unicorn is usually drawn with aback ground of a heavily flowered hill with a spiraled horn jutting out from its forehead.

With the popularity of fantasy movies and fantasy games, you see many types of fantasy tattoo designs that have become popular today, such as Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and final fantasy.

Other fantasy tattoos include cartoon characters, gargoyles, aliens, sci-fi characters, witches, robots and phoenixes.

Fantasy tattoos are a great way to express your fascination with the stories, myths, and legends that come with these fantastic images and designs.
